QuickBooks Advanced Inventory

For 2012, Intuit improved its flagship product, QuickBooks Enterprise, by adding advanced inventory functionality, including serial and lot number tracking, First-in-First-out costing of merchandise and handling multiple warehouses (introduced in 2011).  Now, business owners can accurately track inventory across multiple locations and assign that inventory to sales receipts and invoices.  This gives you better control and reduces losses through theft and misplacement.

These are the primary components of the new QuickBooks Enterprise Advanced Inventory:

* Advanced Inventory is only available in QuickBooks Enterprise.  It is not available in QB Pro or Premier.  This add-on module requires a Full Service Plan from Intuit.

Price: As of 9/26/11, the price for Advanced Inventory is $699 annually, PLUS an FSP (Full Service Plan) agreement with Intuit.  This price is $850 and a 5-user license and includes full product support of QuickBooks Enterprise from Intuit.

First year of the FSP is included with the purchase of the product, and includes U.S. technical support on all aspects of the QB Enterprise product (see FSP details for more information).
