Fishbowl is the perfect answer for our business. Part of our business requires inventory tracking, storage and fulfillment so it is essential we are able to pull information at any given time about any item or order. The reporting feature in Fishbowl makes this so quick and easy and our clients love the fact Fishbowl allows us to offer them monthly activity reports in many different styles. We looked at Fishbowl Inventory two years ago and felt that it did not have the capacity for our needs. Instead we opted for a 100k plus enterprise solution. After an additional 20k in customization we still did not have a software solution to manage our inventory, needless to say we jettisoned our investment and reinvestigated the market. We added Fishbowl Inventory and this was a huge solution to our problems. It is very user friendly and accurate. It doesn't allow a transaction to take place without proper inventory. We have five offices, and each is responsible for counting their inventory. Fishbowl Inventory allows us to see how accurate each location is counting and helps us to better monitor inventory. Creating sales orders is so fast and easy. I've saved so much time by using Fishbowl Inventory. We love the new software and would highly recommend it to anybody with any type of inventory to be accountable for.

The Technical Support through Fishbowl is wonderful. Kevin helped us tremendously while we were setting up and training our staff. They were extremely knowledgeable and very considerate to our needs. BC Technical offers a full line of new and used parts (12,000 in inventory) for gamma cameras (Nuclear Medicine) as well as the fully refurbished cameras. The majority of the motors and mechanical parts are new and identical to the OEM's. They also supply ring and take-up cables for all ADAC cameras.

Need: BC Technical has many high value circuit boards that they often send to the original manufacturer for repair. We use Fishbowl Inventory to manage our inventory and integrate from our website to QuickBooks. It brought our processing time down from 3-5 minutes per order in QuickBooks to about 30 seconds in Fishbowl Inventory (about an 800% improvement!). We had also reached the maximum number of customers in QuickBooks as well, and Fishbowl Inventory let us have unlimited number of customers. Managing inventory by location is also a powerful tool to have... previously we had items organized alphabetically and our warehouse staff had to basically have the inventory memorized... Not very scalable!

Fishbowl Inventory also does not deduct the inventory from your system until the order ships (not when the invoice is created, like QuickBooks). This helps keep track of things much better... a Real Pick, Pack, and Ship system! It also is much easier to import and export data from Fishbowl Inventory, enabling you to more easily integrate other systems (like ecommerce sites, etc.) into Fishbowl Inventory. The final great benefit is the ability to write custom reports... if you can imagine it, it can probably be done!

I've used many accounting, inventory and software programs and I've never encountered support as great as that from Fishbowl Inventory. I send an email and before I know it, I get a reply. And not just a reply- but a reply that actually answers my questions and makes sense. The program was easy to use and the online tutorial and help is great. An Awesome Inventory Control System!


WOW! Fishbowl is a fantastic inventory control system! It has helped us organize our inventory from sales to purchasing, and it interfaces with our existing QuickBooks software! The Perfect Inventory Solution

Fishbowl inventory is the perfect solution for inventory control at the right price. I have been using Fishbowl since its 2.2 version and just upgraded to its 4.0 version and I love it. It has a great variety of features like serial number, lot, expiration dates tracking. It also let you enter various vendors for one part with they specific part number and price. The integration with QuickBooks is easy to configure and will save you a lot time with no double entries. Process all the orders through fishbowl, pack, ship, and then export to QuickBooks and print the invoice, it's that easy. Before buying Fishbowl I tried other software and couldn't find one like it for its price. Great product and will recommended to anybody that's looking for the right inventory solution.

Sharing Data With QuickBooks

When Fishbowl Inventory is initially installed, all of your current data is brought over from QuickBooks using the Configuration Wizard. From that point on, Fishbowl takes over all the non-accounting functions such as POs, SOs, inventory control, Manufacturing, etc. (QuickBooks handles the invoicing, although invoices can also be printed in Fishbowl). As transactions are completed in Fishbowl, the necessary accounting changes are posted to QuickBooks.

All Fishbowl Inventory software packages come with at least one year of Maintenance and Support (M & S), including:

Training Period

The training period gives you unlimited email, chat and phone support for your first 2 to 6 weeks (depending on the number of user licenses purchased. Additional training may be purchased.

Unlimited Call-in support

After the training period, you have unlimited phone support for calls up to ten minutes with a current M & S contract (calls that exceed ten minutes will use an incident).

Incidents

An incident is any support call that exceeds ten minutes. Each Fishbowl Inventory package comes with a specified number of incidents. Additional incidents may be purchased.

Web-based Training

Web-based training hours can be used for setup, problem solving, or touring Fishbowl Inventory's many features. The number of training hours vary depending on the number of user licenses purchased, and you may purchase additional hours.
